SAE threaded flanges are one of our main SAE flange types and it is also the most popular SAE flange type.
According to the thread form, SAE threaded flanges are mainly divided into two categories:One is the American threaded SAE flange referred to as NPT SAE flange.
Threaded NPT, American pipe thread, NPT is the most common threaded connection. When installing, just tighten the inner thread of the SAE flange and turn the outer pipe thread clockwise until it cannot continue to rotate, that is, the installation is completed.
The other type is the inch threaded flange, referred to as BSPP SAE flange.
Threaded BSPP is the inch standard parallel pipe, BSPP is one of the widely accepted standards.
Like SAE socket flanges and SAE butt welding flanges, SAE threaded flanges are also divided into three common types according to their shapes, namely SAE threaded groove surface flange, SAE threaded flat surface flange and SAE threaded double flange.
